General information
Tapestry is a fancy-leaved gorgeous variety with large, attractive pink blotches and red petioles. It is suited for planting in large pots, planters or containers as well as for general landscape use. It is a vigorous plant with large heart-shaped deep green foliage (12” tall) with vibrant crimson or pink main veins. The central portion of the leaves have random white or cream or pink spots or blotches. Copious white, red, or pinkish blotches of various sizes, both single and coalesced, appear between the veins. The under surface of the leaf is light pink with a green margin. Leaves are minimally frilly. Petioles of this type are mostly erect. Colour is grey-red with streaks of light brown near the apex, and it changes to grey-purple with streaks of black near the base.
