Glory lily Semilooper: Plusia signata
Symptom of damage:
- Caterpillar feed on the leaves
- Defoliation
Identification of the pest:
- Larva – green colour with brown spots on the body surface
- Adult – medium sized, brown coloured moth with white streaks on the forewing
Management:
- Collect and destroy the infested plant parts
- Hand picking and destruction of the caterpillars
- Spray NSKE 5% or neem oil 0.5%
