• Developed through pure line selection.
• The plants are Intermediate in growth habit, with semi upright, stems and leaves are purple.
• Fruits are attractive with black colour and calyx is dark purple. Fruit length (18-20 cm), fruit breadth (7-8 cm), fruit weight (300-350 gm), and yield per plant (2-3 kg).The mean yield potential ranges from 55-60 t/ha.
• This variety has been identified for release during 31st AICRP group meeting held at CSKHPKV, Palampur from 2-5, May 2013 for Zone-IV.
